In my opinion the relic items, fate crystals and unidentifiable items, should be added to the market boards.
My reasoning:
1) I am about to farm the fates for the third time and tbh I would rather spend those hours crafting, leveling my crafter jobs, to buy the items. It would be more fun and more productive. As always the game is having hard time being reasonable with multiple-job players.
2) The first point of the relic is so that the players can catch up. That doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be locked behind the grind of the old content.
The second point is to bring the players in the old content - as such it should not matter who is doing it as long as someone is doing it.
3) The battle jobs can always use additional means to make gil. If they have to buy relic items from the crafters, why couldn't the crafters buy the relic items from them?

Relics are supposed to be long term goals that require effort. You're not supposed to be able to just buy it which is what you're proposing. And to change that now so soon after the first relic patch would be an insult to the players who have worked for it.
The current stage isn't that hard to get, but it does take some effort. I've only one Anima relic myself, but I know people who nearly have their third.
They'll nerf the early stages of it later on, but right now you're best to just get on with it :) or not if you don't want it :) -

Let's be honest, if they were on the market boards, the drop rates would b even lower otherwise they would only be like 10k each due to over farm.

People that are willing to put in the effort will have relic before non-raiders get their 7 gears from alex normal... But you'll be able to upgrade it... and upgrade it... and upgrade it. Just like the zetas. 3.2 added new weapon choices, but until that dropped it was the best weapon for people who didn't raid. 3.25 will bring more relic upgrades so it gives people a chance to catch up before that releases.Quote:
