New Gathering / Crafting Accessories

Anyone else think these are junk? HQ over melded gear is way better. I was really disappointed. The new off-hands are better, but not by much.

While the stats on them are junk, the speculation is those are going to be best reliable source of Tier V crafter materia.

I'd rather collect steel sky pirate spoils. x20 gets you a materia.

Yes they are junk, a waste of hard earned Red Crafter Seal. If they would have Materia Slot it would be better, or if they would se sold by Blue Crafter Seal.

I haven't gone in to Diadem since 3.2 but according to this you can only convert Steel spoiles for Tier 4 materia. Has that changed, can you now get Tier 5?

ok, the speculation of these rings being a source of Tier 5 materia is pretty much out the window.
SB Testing on the new Red scrip jewellery

He tried level 60 stuff, but not 2 star stuff. I really think that the way to SB these things is through the 2 star, non-specialist recipes found in the master 4 books. Griffin Leather Strap, Sewing Thread, Camphorwood Lumber, Sewing Needle, and the other four that I don't have the books to know what they are.

That, or they are bugged. Doing *anything* should be enough to bind something, even if it provides the item no further experience.

They are an absolute waste of red scrips, just don't bother. I'm not sure why they really bothered holding this stuff back until now if it was going to be this useless?
