Thoughts for the Next diadem. Feedback thread.
Ok so it seems like the next Diadem, "Diadem 2" is going to have come changes to it.
What would you like to see or what do you want Diadem 2 to be like?
For me I would.
1. Remove flying.
Yes! I said it! Remove flying please. If it's supposed to be a open world dungeon then let us not use mounts then and explore on foot. Give us the feeling of exploration and adventure by discovering new lands caves etc. Once I unlocked flying for my 1st run I just flew around the map to see it all.
2. Discover Caves! Forests etc.
What I mean by this is certain part of the Island go linear with the odd 1 or 2 split paths that you can explore. So For example lets say you find a cave and at the end of the Cave, (end point could be random or just straight up A to B) could be a gold Treasure chest but you have to fight even harder mobs in the cave to get there safely.
So the idea of this one is where the path turns into a dungeon within a dungeon so like the caves, woodlands, mountains etc.
3. HNM less RNG conidtions.
Ok so in Diadem, you defeat mobs, adds to your NM counter and once you reach a certain amount there is a chance of a IV,V or * NM to appear. It would be nice to unlock a specific NM we need to defeat 20 Spiders or something then go to a Spider cave where a gold Treasure is but also a HNM Spider Lord is inside as well but to gain accesses to the Cave you need to clear 2 other Caves which 1st etc or if you want to spawn a Undead Spider Lord kill 10 Spiders and 15 Skeletons. You get the idea.
4. Mobs don't have a respawn timer.
To encourage moving from Island to Island in order for mobs to re spawn on Island A, all of Island B and half of Island C monsters need to be killed.
For me this is what I wouldn't mind, whats your thoughts?
