any chance of Sky/Sea type areas?

i have fond memories of the sky and sea areas from FF11 and the theme park type setting full of NM's appeals to me

all the current content seems fast paced (which isnt a bad thing)

its just that i also enjoyed the slower pace and negotiating which nm we should go kill next etc

Sky inparticular was very fun for me

hopefully we see something like this in the future!

They taking idea from WoW and other western game why the hell not from FFXI? sky and cop was the best thing about ffxi.

No, FFXI is a taboo word for the most part sadly. You say they should use a basic foundation system found in the last 2 MMOs they made (FMO/FFXI) people get upset and say you want a FFXI-2 and they want to play a new game etc etc, however Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV share's one very important aspect...the namesake.

Tu`lia and Lumoria were very nice change of pace, especially once they got rid of the bottlenecks in certain areas, so the type of areas like that and systems would be nice. Yes, people will say you're living in the past if you admit you like FFXI before Abyssea, but honestly, in order to fight a god you had to literally do "trials", i.e popping related NMs on a lore level.

Pretty sure a Crystal Tower was mentioned in the 2.0 notes. That fits the Final Fantasy end game area feel. Isn't it straight from FFIII. Sky/Sea was just FFXI's version of that kind of thing.

Yeah, especially given the little blurbs we know of the Crystal Tower, it's basically right from FFIII, which incidentally would have fit XI better since XI was based around III.

I quit in 2009 E3 when they show FFXIV why would i play FFXI if there a new game coming out + i dislike Abyssea and good thing i quit. Don't talk like you know a person when you don't no need to be rude -.-
