Weather effects and our characters

Little suggestions

1. Snowflakes in our hair and clothes would be nice. (or just hair)

2. Droplets from our clothes and gear when wet (or just our hair again)

3. Monster gunk on our clothes like slimes or Morbol spit (....or just our hair :p )

Feel free to add other things that you'd like to see weather effects do from now on.

Ex: Electric weather in the Sea of Clouds makes our hair stand up a bit X)

Common answers: Server limitations, PS3 restrictions, memory usage, other things more important (other stuff similar). My answer, let the devs worry about that if your not one yourself -_-

I think it's more like the existing weather effects are just lighting and shading gimmicks to make us look damp and wet, and what you are suggesting is some kind of physics engine thing.

But yeah, gimme some kind of "I've been working" effect when you just crafted things. Sawdust, flour, scorch marks, etc.

Why just weather when we don't even have bloodstains yet?

We should be soaking in blood after our average dungeon run.

Character hair is modeled in chunks, rather than individual hair strands. Believe it or not, hair strands are pretty computationally expensive, so they won't be seen in an MMORPG for at least another few years.

Not going to lie this sounds like you only want people who agree with you to post. Going to be a pretty one sided discussion then.

I have to agree with one of your common answers. There are far more important stuff needing changed or added into the game before this.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't say no to this addition but logically it has to be way down the list of stuff to add/change.

..weren't an issue when they gave us the wet effect of rain, don't see it being an issue with any other kind of weather effect. Though... I have to question the want of blood spray. That seems a little morbid.

I like the monster gunk part and maybe have your character have a disgusted expression :3

So, in a game where one of the major elements is to go around the world slaughtering critters of all sorts, you'd prefer we come through the other side of the battlefield covered in rainbows and leprechaun gold? This isn't My Little Pony Online; give us some blood!

PS3 actually doesn't have wet water effects last I checked.
