Dark Knight Version of the Zantetsuken

Can we have one plz? I think it would also liven the Odin FATE too.

A more origenal weapon would be nicer.

Zantetsuken wouldn't really translate well into a great sword.

And that long thing translate into a paladin sword? If you want an original weapon make another thread asking for more Odin weapons. I'm asking for a Dark Knight version of the sword that would fit fine as its just the right length for DRKs.

Sigh, You do know the blade disappears when shiethed right?

THAT is what wouldn't translate well. And there's nothing wrong with it's length being a PLD Sword. That's like complaining the PLD's Burtgang is a BFS. And it is a ridiculously sized BFS at that.

Try using your imaginaion. The sword would have to be changed to fit the bill, I was thinking a long type sheath that when unsheathed it extends beams from the sides.

Anyway, this is how the original kinda looks. The idea is to have the sheath long enough to look like a dark knight weapon on its own but the blade changes and extends. I'll see if I can draw an image describing it better later. :/

So have it look more like an oversized scimitar than a katana? Hmmm, That could work. Perhaps sized simmilar in proportions to the Balmung but with a stronger curve?

My concern about it retracing could be avoided simply by removing that feature as well.

You mean the sword animation? Nah I'd like to keep it, kinda what makes it special. I think I came up with something but not sure how well it translates into an Odin Weapon, just the fact that the blade shoots out I guess. By the way it'd be ok to change the look a bit. Katana blades are nice but greatswords look better on DRK imo. So this is what I came up with:

That shoulder pad thing is silly and is removable w/e. Basically the sheathe is alot longer to actually seem like a sword of sorts from the back and changes when unsheathed to reveal its blade.
