Well, I just want to spice up the game a bit for myself so I'm going to start going a bit out there making some different specs.

Here is my question, stat wise, do you think it's possible to forgo being a main tank, and focusing on DPS with abilities from other classes, shield abilities(if you need to hold a mob in a pinch for 15-20sec), and spells.


I'm going to be doing some testing tonight, but what I'd like to hear is what you all have experienced with cross classed spells on a DoW with ~100 int/pie, less or more as well.

I think most people are simply following a long the direction they're suggested to go. I was intending to experiment a bit and see what I could come up with. However I also feel like there's little point in experimenting with a game that is certain to change in major ways.

Working to hard to make a kind of "Spell Blade" build could turn into a complete waste of time if they change everything in a month or so. =\

After talkin' with a guildie who plays a DPS magic user I think I have settled on a few target stats, so we'll see in the next few weeks! :P
