Poking enemies with iron needle's and bashing their heads with maple spinning wheel+1 is more fun then pushing the standard synth 1000000000000000000 times or maybe design enemies for DoL and DoW only?
why not apply links and chain exp to dol and doh?

I was toying around with the idea of a crafting xp chain:
Each consecutive item that you make that wasn't previously on your Recipes list gets bonus xp that rises up to a certain % and stays as long as you keep the chain and don't get up from crafting. Not sure if different dyed versions should count, but maybe it would entice people to make multiple colors. -

Combo bonus would need to stay even if you get up though, as crafting doesn't have a speed pull mechanic, it's just about grinding. -

Vahzl and estallios i agree with both your points, and i do agree about crafting is "about grinding" which is a sad thing in most korean-japanese mmo's
