Premade Troll Teams

So, more than a few times, I've queued to tank a 4-man dungeon, and run into premade parties who like to generally be dicks. They usually like to complain that, no matter what you're doing, you're bad at it. They attack the wrong enemy at every turn, just to piss you off and drag out the instance. The healer will be undergeared and intentionally barely keep you alive. Then they tell you they're all max iLv. tanks and you're just a filthy degenerate.

What do you guys do when this happens? Clearly, if you try to kick one, the other two will vote 'No,' and ultimately force you to leave before you complete the dungeon (blatantly killing themselves on boss fights, refusing to fight, etc.). Then you have to wait half an hour and roll again. And of course when a new tank joins they're going to say that you were a Gil seller, a hacker, a troll, or somesuch and that everyone should report you. I know this gets significantly worse in endgame...

It happens in all content, usually as it becomes older. They're now in Alexander & I've completely lost any interest in running it with PUGs even though I need to get a particular drop.

Annoyingly they tend to be people who have done things like Savage with their statics so think it's great fun to rile up the "casual scum" who can't dedicate the time and/or money.

I'm not sure what this even means to be honest?

Premade groups in the DF queue in general can be a pain even if they are not trolling they will often gang up on the extra person they picked up if something goes wrong even if it wasn't their fault. The most irritating examples of trolling as a premade was back in CT because it's so easy to purposely cause a wipe you'd get a whole alliance of people from the same server who just joined to troll and you couldn't kick any of them.

One of the great things about being the healer is that when I run into this (and I don't very often,thankfully) I just start letting everyone die over and over until they kick me.

Going in DF as a tank I've ran into more of these premade troll groups who do everything to make you fail. Healer in cleric the whole time, minimal heals and each DPS attacking randomly. They ignore markings, pull at random, use custom tells to trash you, spam medica and regen... sigh. If it happened 2-3 a week I'm annoyed but whatever's. But several times daily... its absurd. You are trapped and at their whim unless you cut and take a 30, get kicked or they don't roll on loot and stay in battle so you cannot do either.

If I screw up I own it and fully expect grumbling. In honesty there is very little you can really do. If its really bad I usually wait 15 and leave. Mostly I'll reply with "Warning, party trolls detected, commencing random cat humor" then answer everything with meow, paw licks or "Puuurrs at your keyboard warriorness"..etc

Funniest troll I've ever encountered was a WHM in A4 who was quarantined when the rest of the party was dead. They proceeded to self heal all the way to the enrage. It was terrible, but eventually the party began to acknowledge just how over the top this behavior was and even began to cheer them on.

This game is weird sometimes.

Omg I love you lmao...

But to OP the concept is the same with tanking just let them die don't use Emity skills, they will eventually quit or kick you in summary just become a bad tank fight fire with fire...

And those idiots in Alexander have just ruined it for me I enjoyed doing my weekly but since ppl think it's funny to troll in there I haven't done Alex in weeks this is that darn CT tower all over again.:mad:

never experienced this in FF and I thought FF community wasn't as toxic as the WOW community so that's a surprise reading this

if its not fun anymore though I would leave the dungeon and take the penalty, their is a lot to do in FF like crafting , fates, quest, plenty of things if you need to get away from dungeon trolls
