As far as I understand, the Armoury system was supposed to allow you to do everything you wanted to do on a single character efficiently, without the need for alts as most MMO's require. Well with the way lockouts/weekly caps are handled, it is advantageous to have an alt in every main aspect of this game.
Advantages to having an alt:
- DoM/DoW: Want to play more than one job and gear them at the same speed (eso cap / alexander lockouts)
- Gathering: 450 red scrips multiplied by the number of alts you have.
- Crafting: 450 red scrips multiplied by the number of alts you have. If they decide to add specialist recipes like Yoshi P has mentioned, then it will be an even more advantageous to have an alt so you can have access to more recipes.
- Additional inventory space (although not tied directly to one of the three main aspects of the game).
Am I wrong or did I completely miss the point of the Armoury system?
