I am very serious about this because I have seen on two different occasions multiple characters teleporting around obviously bots. There should be some system in place to prevent this. I am not a programmer but there has to be some solution available.

You've never noticed bots teleporting inside of walls and mining nodes from the inside, eh? Did you notice during the live anniversary stream that JADE is one of the top 5 farmed items in the game? Jade, which has barely a use outside of a handful of recipes for which one or two jade is sufficient, yet which also sells for 12 gil, is one of the top farmed items despite no one ever visibly farming it on most servers.
If I was a dev, I'd feel embarrassed sharing census data which very clearly indicated an RMT hack in progress. -

RMT operate sololy on bots, wall hacks, place of position hacking, even when farming gill in instances they simply go undergroud to avoid being attacked. This is why they favor blm, for this reason, this has been going on since this game started and nothing has stopped it so far. They do quests by teleporting to quest npcs, if even someone simply watched them they can easily see it, but for some reason, they get away with it long enough to do enough damage. And don't get me started on mining bots, which is the reason you see 3-5000+ crystals on sale at once.

This is to say nothing of the character accounts that actually ARE hacked and/or put up for sale on less than reputable sites.
I'm surprised a fix to the teleporting underground/between walls stuff hasn't happened yet. -
