Crushing Dreams Faster

You know that level 60 2 star item you want but you can't even dream about it because mats are stupidly expensive?

Square Enix just adjusted the Dream Crushing Time, and now just take 5 minutes for you to realize you won't have the item!!! EVER!!!

Thanks Square to smash our hopes so fast and efficiently!!! Now my expectations will not get high and my disappointment will be minor! Nailed it!

People asked them to reduce the favor time provided they increased the respawn rate of the nodes so they could farm them in less time, which they did by 3x what it was. Can't please everyone, such is life but people did ask them to do this. Read the gatherer section of the forums, quite a few people are happy with this change even if you are not.

Nobody asked, they went rampant with "fix or unsubscribe!" Lol

Regarding ingredients offering this change nothing! I don't know what's the benefit of not let crafters craft, locking mats behind this atrocious system.

Then you have not been paying attention, go read the gathering section about favor complaints (the forum section that relates to the system since favors are a gathering not crafting mechanic the game which crafters merely make use of once gathered). People did ask for this and it seems it has pleased quite a few people already who noticed the change which is not surprising since it was asked for.

Reality is SE cannot please everyone, with everyone having different opinions on the things they want to see happen in this game they are bound to please some and displease others but SE did do what some people have been asking for and those people are happier because as gatherers it reduces the amount of time we have to spend farming them. I am a capped gatherer on all gathering classes and farm these sort of nodes, I personally am happy this change was made. It might have a lesser effect on the crafting aspect than the gathering aspect but in terms of gathering which favors are, it is a good change.

We can only hope the time nerf encourages more people to gather and sell the favor items, though at this point I'm skeptical if supply will increase at all. Prices might drop a little simply because of the perceived nerf.

Well I only just got out of bed so some jokes, especially sarcasm might go over my head until I am fully awake but I think the overall point I was making stands. You/he can simply skip over the first half of my first sentence in my reply if was joke and joke simply didn't register with me since still half asleep until go down make my morning coffee. :)

I hope you're right, and this change the system for the better. But for what I've seen, even though averse to conspiracy theories, this seems like a way to cover the fact that there's not enough recipes. I see no reason why keep us from crafting...this is disheartening for those that are not in this just for the gil, but genuinely love crafting!

So even at absolute best possible results what's the highest potential number obtainable now? 8?
