Please increase the range of Helios & Aspected Helios to 20y in the next maintenance

I actually don't mind AST and think that whilst it lacks some punch its manageable in Savage. The one thing that desperately needs changing that won't unbalance the class is the radius heal of Aspected Helios/Helios.

People need to spread out, they take damage, I need to heal them all efficiently, but I already have less MP efficiency than my co-healers. I need for every spell to count, and if Aspected Helios was 20y I'm more likely to atleast heal all DPS in A1s/A2s and eventually A4s(whenever our team gets there) when we aren't stacked like potatoes.

Although I'm very much in favor of AST tweaks, I don't see this as being necessary.

Perhaps Aspected Helios in Diurnal could be justified in receiving a radius boost since it mimics Medica II, but the other versions of Helios I think are fine and in line with what the other healers have. Cooldowns and slightly more relevant card buffs are still my biggest concerns with the Job.

Card changes and cooldowns take time and balancing - though I advocate for these changes too. As mentioned in opening post this is a small change that won't unbalance the class and would provide some usefulness where AOE healing is a must (3/4 savage fights), and where AOE healing spread targets is a must (A1/A4 - i think arena size in A3 is quite small)

Most healer combos will roll Diurnal AST/SCH due to PIE/MND buffs on corresponding classes, and also partially because nocturnal stance is still broken. To have both healers with limited AOE heal range (succor also only 15y and also inefficient for spamming) on rooms with a large radius seems a bit gimped. There's really no reason that Aspected Helios (Diurnal) is limited to 15y. Maybe they could associate the y with being in diurnal or nocturnal stance if they wanted to get technical.

Hmm. Should helios be the same range as Medica? Seems like it would step on the toes of white mages when we can utilize lightspeed to make up for the lack of range. Seems everyone's largest gripe is is astro inability to handle stress situations were people make mistakes. Our cooldown area seems like it would be a better spot to get a look at first over increasing range of helios.

Helios already has the same range as Medica. I maintain that this is fine.

The only difference is that Aspected Helios (Diurnal) hasn't the same range as Medica II. It wouldn't be the end of the world to bring it in line, I think. Of course, whether or not they could do this without boosting the Nocturnal version as well I have no idea. Probably not.

Isn't Aspected Helios same with Medica II? Probably Helios that need tweaks. It should be ranged 20y like Medica.

Medica II is the only AoE healing spell with a 20y radius. Medica, Succor, Indom, Assize are all 15y.

Oh sorry I didn't see clearly that Medica is 15y. Yeah Aspected Helios should same with Medica II, 20y.

There is one. A really big one and is called white mage, astrologian is a hybrid healer and so is fated to be weaker than the originals.
