i think this is more pointing out that we can't have barefeet because reasons yet those two can :P

I think it was brought up more due to being unique models, though I wouldn't argue for the sake of swimwear. It'd odd running into water with default footwear or sandles.

Anyone perceptive enough would have noticed it. Whether someone will ask for more is a different matter.
And what's wrong with feet fetish? I don't see how someone else's fetish affects me at all.
It's not any more "sick" to like feet than it is to like boobs or legs or waistlines or whatever.
Ask some girls and you'll be surprised how wildly they differ between the parts on men they find attractive.
