So I was surprised to learn I won the 66th slot in the Memories NA contest! Neat! One problem though is that I've since used a fantasia and name change. Is there anything I need to consider?

I did the same thing on the EU aura Twitter contest. I asked a GM in game, they said try here or Twitter. I tried both and got no response. I made a back up character with my previous name so the entries are still tied to the account, but even that may not be enough (if the prize only goes to that character then it's wasted).

I'm hoping (for many reasons) that they keep a record of name/server changes made over time for accounts. To make it easier to track down players for handing out prizes, or punishments (if they try to change names and servers to escape a history of abusing the rules only).

Most games *do* track this.
Hell there's even a website for World of Warcraft that's pretty decent of tracking you through name, guild, server and faction transfers based off achievements... -
