Tanking > Tank DPS.

If you can -comfortably- switch to strength gear then sure, but a lot of strength tanks I see have their hp yoyoing about (and healers having to tunnel vision heal rather than help the party / DD of their own).

I'm full prostrating that Hydalen has our healers back on some of these "DD tanks". To be fair a few strength warriors (they didn't fail at tanking either) have made me want to switch jobs, then I get to clemency the healer and save the party and I feel ok again.

C'mon, there are 2 topics on the front page of general right now, and like a trillion of these in the tank section. What does this topic add to that? Your personal opinion? Great. Why not post it as a reply? Is this really worth its own thread?

This thread is just as dumb as the debate between the two tank types is.

Nothing good will come of this thread.

Well if you are lucky they will scale future content to hit so hard that they will have to wear vit. Not all tanks but they do seem to gather some less then friendly community people. Anyone else notice that all the 3.0 dungeons have a gate every 6 mobs or mobs that won't even spawn until certain requirements are met.

if you're tanking on a class, i would have to say yes.

you might wanna try one of the 3 great tanking *jobs* which is what you should actually be playing.
