All I know is that they reworked the parry stat and is currently a flat 20% damage mitigation upon proc.
So now what? Is that particular stat better/worse/meh? People disliked parry then, what about now?

At least for WAR with the auto parry buff the stat should be even worse now.
I don't really remember what % I was parrying at before HW but I'm pretty sure it was above 20% per.
So Raw Intuition isn't as good as it would have been for folks with significant amounts of Strength.
DRK gets a CD reset from it, but the parry stat is no match for carrying more strength there.
And just in general, given that every other stat was reduced in effectiveness by the level-cap increase, I can only assume the parry rate was hit as well. Parry probably remains kind of crappy.
One thing I did notice, though, is the first boss of Fractal Continuum. His "tank buster" move is the kind of thing that makes parry a bit more desirable: A bunch of hits very quickly that add up to significant damage. If Alexander has stuff like that and timings make it not so easy to just pop CDs, DRK/WARs might start thinking about carrying some parry if they're MTing.
Could be that they increased the parry rate from the parry stat. Meaning we might get more parries although weaker? Has anyone looked into this?
I kinda wonder if we can stack parry to get 21% damage reduction or if it's a static 20% and all parry does is increase the chance of parrying attacks.
Personally, I don't like the new parry calculation. I understand why they did it (stat bloat for STR would turn parry into The Best Stat), but I don't like it.
Of course, I have to confess that my disappointment is because I use keen flurry to handle trash as a DRG, and that -30% for 20 seconds was a blessing from Altana herself.
Also, reading back on Falgern's post, I don't know if they made parry's rate dependent on the stat itself now, since keen flurry doesn't seem to get any more or less parries than it did before. I guess the only way to really test that is to make a parry gimmick set and go to wolves' den?
