SE, please consider having the turrets follow you, it seems to be a royal PITA having to replace it every time you move. :)

The whole point is that they are stationary turrets and not pets.
Dare I ask... what about machinist ISN'T a hassle?
Where is the benefit in playing the class? All I see are cons.
Less DPS than Bard, weak debuffs (5% for 10s on a 90s SHARED cooldown timer rofl), less MP/TP regain than bard, WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY more demanding to play.
Machinist is a giant ball of cons, there is literally no pull or reason to WANT to play it aside from guns at present. And this is coming from me who was HYPED for a debuff style gun class.
Speaking of turrets... I thought they weren't suppose to take damage? Did I made that up in my head or something? I seem to remember reading that they didn't take damage, which made up for the fact that they couldn't move.
They move, just wait to put bishop in a middle of a bunch of mobs when one of those has a knockback, then you'll want that they don't move at all
I prefer them immobile. They're not highly sophisticated AI. Perhaps one day as the Job develops lore-wise. Not only that, it's more interesting that they're unlike pets... and it's not hard to re-deploy them. Part of the strat (and enjoyment, for me at least) is placing their properly.
