Dev, please confirm MCH buffs before Alexander release?

It's a sad truth that some MCH won't be brought to raid due to their below-par DPS.

At least, with Alex (Savage), we're sure to see that happen.

The Job has problems & we'd please like confirmation that you're expediting changes.

Potency buffing alone will not help the unlucky RNG cases where you miss like 7 Split Shot proc's in a row (not fun which' BAD & far too fickle which' BAD).

So I propose one option from this list (not all, not a combination; just one):

1) Quick Reload CD to 15s, Reload CD to 45s (line's up with Wildfire every other).

2) Split Shot proc chance to 75%.

3) New Trait, passive gain 1 Ammo per missed proc ("Lucky Round"?).

And lastly, I believe these should be done along with 1 of the above:

A) Gauss Barrel cast time to 1.5s (or instant; no longer instant /w Rapid Fire)... & buff to 25-30% (for Wanderer's Minuet too, though I'd prefer that ability should be removed from existence & Bard overhauled some).

B) Wildfire no longer calculates defense twice (during both hits & final effect).

I'd also love to see Hot Shot changed to "Ability" so it doesn't consume ammo though it's not needed.

The normal mode which they said will be like story mode probably can take any job combo and win.

True. Though there's still a lot of Anti-Machinist flaming sentiment going around. Should just be nipped in the bud. MCH being kicked from dungeons outright due to perception they so awfully underperform.

While they're low, MCHs aren't that bad to the point they should be opted out of party compositions (although I definitely would not take two of them in one raid)

Add to this problem that a lot of people are being discouraged from leveling MCH or quitting them early. There's this huge fear by many that we'll be flamed or ostracized/not welcome because this issue is THAT severe. SE, we really need you to make a statement please & quick.

One of any of the three options is needed, at minimum.

They do less than the tanks at end-game without the defensive benefits... and they're labeled a DPS.

Even though they 'shouldn't,' the sad reality is it's going to happen.

Like he mentioned, people already getting kicked out from dungeons just for being Machinist. I've experienced this myself even. Sure, there's the report feature (which I used & all should), but this issue is larger & needs SE's immediate attention.

This isn't like LolDRG where the stereotype is humorous but a good DRG was allowed in.

Machinist's will be turned back come Alex (Savage), surely.

Hm what I was told brd and mch at 60 are pretty much on par with dps. Soooo I doubt a buff would happen soon.

Not even close, and MCH is a much harder class to play so it should be outputting more dps then bard.

Harder the class should not mean more dps, Classes should be balance and it should be about play style you enjoy. So how tough a class plays should not come into how much dps it should do, As that is not fair way of balancing things in my eyes.

DRK/MCH need buffed. IMO. Nobody wants a subpar tank.
