Why does PC have to be complicated?

I preordered the physical collector's for PC, but because my account is with Steam I can't get any of my collector's items in game??? I tried registering my collector's edition but it just gave me an invalid code... This happened with me for the preorder code as well. Customer support hasn't been very supportive so trying this out, I really don't wanna pay for a second collector's edition to get the things I should already have :/

I think it's been stated numerous times that PC version and Steam version are not compatible.

Yes.As TurnBased said they made numerous announcements and clearly stated that if you had steam version you HAD TO BUY STEAM VERSION HEAVENSWARD to be able to play.What you did is fundamentaly wrong...and I think you have yourself in an dead end.Unless the developers are willing to make you a favor.

That's not PC fault, that is SE and Steam don't accept each third party. Everyone has their own boat. Steam uses Steam wallet, totally another transaction system unlike SE Store uses the typical online system (Paypal, CC etc.)
