I don't know who had that idea but trying to teleport again and again in the area only to stay in the same wrong instance is really frustrating. I know you can change instance by going out of the map then enter it again without teleporting but some areas don't make it easy at all. And you can't even do this in The Churning Mists.
There is one rather LARGE benefit:
Every instance has their own separate hunts. You can kill an A rank in Instance 1, find him again in Instance 2 (on his own timer), and AGAIN on Instance 3. Essentially this is tripling the amount of possible Hunt Seals you can obtain when compared to the Servers that currently do not have Instances. Having to manually zone out to pick the instance you desire is worth the reward.
