Instancing and Hunts don't go well together at all

As it stands, Hunts in the new zones are practically broken, you keep getting put into the wrong instance, and by the time you switch, if that option is even there, 90% chance that the mob has already been pulled.

Hunts were not designed for instanced maps, why didn't you think of this?

This could have been so easily avoided if there was a "Hunt Instance", one you could select all the time from teleportation and from walking into a new zone, with a setting somewhere to turn it off for those who don't like it.

Not even sure why instancing is there in the first place, never during Early Access did I have an issue with too many players, this is a solution to a problem that never existed.

The instancing is here only for a while, untill they will be sure they can delete it.
And there is a high chance that they handled the EA so well because of the instancing.
When I was in Falcon Nest there was no instancing but lalafelload of people and it was laging quite a lot.

It seems logical that when entering an instanced zone by teleportation or return, the game will likely send you in the less crowded one, i.e. the one without the hunt.

The problem is that in every other game with instances i've played i get ported to the same instance as my party, if i don't i have an option to change wither between instances or join party in the instance they are, here i have nothing, even if i'm one of the first to click a teleport used by, let's say, party leader, i don't get into same instance, some others do.

While instances are a good idea, not allowing people to port to their party is a pure joke, what's the point of instances for people that play with friends if they get into different instances and there's no option to get them together?

Even if i port to another map, there's no guarantee i'll go back to their instance when coming back, not just on hunts, this punishes friends playing together while leveling.

Stop teleporting to these two zones. Teleport to an adjacent zone and walk. What's the difference between teleporting to W. Coerthas or teleporting to Ishgard and walking? Almost nothing, beside the choice of your instance in the latter case.
■How to Choose a Field Instance
When changing areas on foot or by mount to one of the areas listed above, a window will appear that will let you select which instance you wish to travel to.
■Entering the Same Field Instance as a Party Unfortunately, if a party enters an area via Teleport/Return, they may not enter the same Field Instance. You will need to enter the area by foot or mount and select the same Field Instance number to ensure that you stay together.

They do not expect you to be doing hunts and wrecking zones at this point. Some zones have enough lag. We don't need the locusts swarming about. They shouldn't even have A or S spawning in the new zones yet.

To be fair hunts were never designed to have the entire server teleport in to kill them in the first place. You're complaining that instancing inhibits hunts solely because the community coordinates them as server-wide kills which they were never supposed to be.

It doesn't matter what they were intended to do. What matters is what players actually do and SE has known about this problem since day 1 of hunts. What made them think anything would change in this xpac? All of a sudden players would think "Oh let's do hunts like the developer INTENDED us to?" No.

This is why they need a public test server. This sort of thing goes live and they scramble to deal with it when knowing how their players would react to something would equip them to nip it BEFORE it becomes an issue.

What do the new hunts reward at level 60? You cant even view the list of rewards until you are high enough level to get the quest. I was doing my quests in dravania forelands yesterday when a hunt popped and the people rushing in nearly crashed the zone. Everyone started getting the red disconnect circle next to their name. Luckily the server held up. But whats the big rush already?

    What I thought was stupid...

"You can only choose what instance to go to by walking into the zone, but by the way, you can't actually walk into the zone from Foundation at all."

Made leveling with my boyfriend a huge inconvenience. :/

Gear upgrades. The equivalent of Sands of time etc.

Dunno why SE has such a boner for putting that stuff on hunts before anything else...
