So... about those Recruit-A-Friend rewards...

Why not add another reward for a hat that gives 20% more exp from lvl 30-50 or something. Since all new releases for jobs will start at lvl 30 and there are no more classes being add?

Everyone who got everything to 50 before recruit-a-friend cant take advantage of the friendship circlet so it would be nice if we had something like "Recruit 5 friends to get new exp hat item" or something.

What do you guys think?

The new jobs can't be played until you reach Ishgard in the main story with an existing starter role, and by then you get the +50% exp on all other jobs after the first by default. The circlet is mainly for newbies leveling their first character, which will always be forced to start at level 1.

Why do you need an EXP booster up to level 50? And why do i have a feeling that I seen this suggestion before?

Both the recruiter and the recruited get the circlet. The recruiter could already have everything above lvl 25 before getting the circlet. The reason behind recruiters getting it is an incentive to recruit.

Maybe because it kinda risky to use in dungeon because no defense applied on them? (I know if you doing FATE you can "ignore" your defense)

For DoH or DoL, maybe it will make your progress kinda hard for higher level?

Also resting bonus can handle your exp pretty well though.

The problem is that the the circlet ONLY gives exp boost. Most of the dungeons from brayflox (lvl 32) onwards are actually pretty difficult if you're even slightly under leveled. Especially so for newer players who are still learning the dungeon. If SE were to extend the exp boost to cover lvl 30-50, all the newbie tanks and healers would be wearing that helm too and causing endless wipes in those dungeons. I think this is a TERRIBLE idea.

I heard that, in 3.0, all content from 1-50 was getting a double XP boost.

Also, it's very possible that the Baron Helm/Baron Circlet will increase this even further.

The other problem with this idea is that the recruitment rewards are exclusive to those capable of recruiting new players. Those who, for various reasons, can't won't be able to obtain such rewards. It's also not like those rewards from attending events, items that are solely for vanity and little else. These have a function that is only partially found on other readily available rewards of similar function (most experience boosting headgear stop working at level 10 versus the circlet at level 20). To ask for an exclusive piece of equipment to be made more exclusive solely to 'alleviate' the hassle of leveling is so very selfish as to be egotistical.
