Now my question is in regards to the DX11 client...is this going to be made available as well prior to the EA start, or after?

Why do expansion launches always have to happen at like 4 in the morning >.<

I was at least hoping for JP midnight.

JP Midnight is great for Americans! (At least, those that don't have to work or go to school.)

...not so great for JP. "Yay, my game is being updated and I can finally try out Heavensward! At least until I collapse from exhaustion after a couple hours! Woo!"

4am in America is just about perfect for prime time play in Japan, which is why they do it. Being, you know, a Japanese game, and all... Just accept it, and go to bed early the night before. :3

This is why I changed shifts on the 18th and took the 19th off.

Do we know if the DX11 client will include a DX9 option on it? Much in the same way as the benchmark does? Otherwise I'd want to have both available in case there's some serious issues that come out at launch.

Early access starting in the morning is not all bad. It being early in the morning might lower the chance that the servers will instantly crash from the load. Just imagine if they launched it in prime time. That seems like an accident waiting to happen.

I'm excited about it starting in the morning tbh. I would have been up all night on the 18th otherwise just because of the anticipation. At least, now when I pass out around 3 pm est from a lack of sleep, I will have had some quality time with my Au Ra machinist.
