Long legs and long skirts.

I feel bad for caster mains that are elezen/roes because the skirt clipping is unreal. Running around in the spring skirt is so annoying to look at. Is there any way to fix this sorta thing or am I stuck with short skirts and pants to keep myself sane?

All legs clip through, not just Elezen legs. My feet and legs clip through my Serpent Elite's Robe too >.>. I just RP around it ^^.

PS3 limitations!

It annoys me too, but the amount of processing power needed to put anti-clipping physics on clothing and hair is apparently just too much for the game client, which is already pushed to its limits on the PS3.

Even on hyur. It's part and parcel of having a physics engine in a game with long skirts and robes. Especially when it didn't have one prior.

Actually, this isn't an issue on the PS3 as the PS3 doesn't have a physics engine like the PC and PS4. It also has a lower framerate. Skirts and long robes work just fine on it.

It's certainly not an issue with PCs, 1.0 had anti-clipping on practically everything and it was PC only.

1.0 Also didn't have a physics engine, I played it too. Hated how the White Mage robe would flash the Culottes when I ran. So glad the Culottes were optional, wore felt gaskins to the very end of service in November (when I wasn't in full Bard AF).

Miqo'te have this problem too. Any long skirt and my feet go right through it when I run.

The clipping issues were pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back for me and I fantasia'd from miqote to lalafell. :p

1.0 used the Crystal-Tool engine from FF XIII
And 1.0 was created with PS3 in mind, even if it never came out for PS3.

In 1.0 the clipping issue was solved with allowing the gear to stretch. It looked weird with a robe while crafting or sitting.
