Basically what the topic says.
To my knowledge there has yet to be 100% confirmation that 3.0 will bring new wards to the existing city states. All we have had confirmed is that there will be no Ishgardian Housing Ward for at least 12-24 months.
What I am hoping for is entirely new (and different) wards for the cities instead of the clunkly sub-ward system. I know that is a pipe dream. But we need something.
Please give us confirmation that we are getting a large number of new housing wards with Heavensward's launch. Many servers are 100% full.
There was also talk on the forums about new features that allowed for the sale/transfer/upgrade from one house to another. Is this feature still being worked on? Will it make it into 3.0? If not, when? 3.1? 3.2? far future?
Lastly, there was also talk about Eternal Bond partners gaining access to their partner's housing. Is this still a thing? Can we get some more information on this.
Basically, those of us that are in love with housing have been left in the dark about the content that means the most to us. Please help us out with some information/confirmation. If not on the forums, can we get a blog or a Duty Commenced that discusses this type of content?

Meh, it will only get fixed once SE implements a time limit for inactive subscriptions and a system to relinquish the Limited house plots.
I am curious about the sharing of a house with eternal bond members as well as friends list. Nothing has been said recently at all regarding any of this and it has caused me some concern. -

The reason they gave for not having ishgard housing at launch was that the servers would already be under a crazy amount of pressure from all the other stuff being added. Housing is very server-intensive, so I doubt they're gonna add any more until they've had some time to see how the servers manage during launch. So your far more likely to get 100% confirmation that they're not adding new wards, especially not a large number.Quote:

I currently, since housing first came out, own a guild house (S) together with my bonding partner. We then wanted to save up for an L but were a bit to late, suddendly everything was sold out, especially after the individual housing came... so we are currently sitting on millions of gil to buy an L plot, but nothing to buy, and it reallly has to be in thanalan too ._.
Buuut what we'd love, would be a heavensward housing districts; in the clouds <3 this would be totally awsome -

I know I have read a few sources, one mentioning that they will have more housing available in 3.0 and another mentioning that they have an intention to introduce ishgard housing if there is enough interest but definitely not in the near future, I remember potentially in 2 years being mentioned.

While your Free Company doesn't require a house to take part in the Airship content in 3.1 (you can team up with another Free Company to use theirs), it would still be nice if Free Companies without an estate could at least get a shot at having their own. We can build Airships in 3.0 and send them off on Retainer Venture style missions, doubt anyone would really miss not having that, but to be spending 3.1 buying land, building a house, then buying the workshop and building an Airship, while everyone already with an estate already has built their Airships and are exploring the 3.1 content right away... Only reason these people don't do so is because of the ambiguity that there "might" be new wards coming in 3.0.
