A thought on fixing SOME of the toxicity of the game
Since the beginning SE has held firm that they are against parser because they cause a toxic effect between players in higher stress raids. Using such is a Ban-able offense despite the potential benefit that parsers provide. I argue that the "Soldiery bonus" effectively has the same affect. Players instead of seeking out the bonus to be rewarded use is as a gate to lock out less effective players. Cleared players have no motivation for helping for a measly 100 soldiery. Now this leads to another problem. Learning parties. No matter what all the raiders say, you cant just start a learning party and learn. Many learning parties have hit the 1 hour lockout without even hitting 4 players. This leads players trying to learn to be frustrated and feel locked out. So what do we do? lie our way into farm or clear parties to learn. And that just makes everyone mad; leads to blacklisting, which leads to more unsuccessful learning parties and farm parties.
