QUestion about Coverting Spirit bonded gear's

I was spirit bonding some crafting gear and I was under the impression that those gears only convert to crafting mats, I was using bunch of Aetheryte Ring's to spirit bond and when I started to convert the rings I got bunch of elemental and attribute materias in the beginning I was using some wind and earth mat on the rings to speed up the bonding but removed them and replaced them with control and crafting 1's but still got elemental materias, is that because the rings have increase spirit bond gain by +1 or is it because I melded materias to my ring's, all my other crafting gears only converted to crafting materias but they weren't melded :confused:

Wouldn't that be desythesis and not converting?

In that case, I read that Aetheryte Ring's are not considered crafting gear. Thus, you'll get the elemental materia...

Anything you spirit bond has the chance to turn elemental. Melds affect the speed in which it bonds, but won't do anything to affect the outcome.

As Kaitlen already said: those rings arent considered crafting gear and I cant really recommend to bind them... might be my impression but it felt like I got more elemantel materia from those than from anything else -.-

That's incorrect. Crafting equipment never turns into elemental materia. Aetheryte Rings arent classified as crafting equipment, so they can turn into elemental materias. They wont ever convert into crafting materias.

Sadly, bc of the Spiritbond +1, the rings fall under battlefield convert tables, yet desynth still gives FC demis. Too bad they're still Crafter BIS.

If I can give any advice, the fastest way to convert IVs and IIIs for crafteing/Gathering is to use the FC action, a SB potion, and go to umgharowhatcha call it mines and kill mobs/fates until they're all 100% Goes fast, especially if you meld those crappy whites to the gear, so bring multiple pieces, and the seals you get pay for the SB potions, Extremly efficient if you get a fc group together and make an event out of it.
