So I know you can dye tradeable gear with the metallic dyes and trade it back. Has anyone done this and what's a good price to do? I bought a handful of each dye and am looking for info so I can use it to make some money in game =)

Personally I wouldn't trust anyone doing this... What's stopping the person doing this from taking your item, placing you on blacklist and walking away?

That said, I see people selling dyes in PF for around 50-200k a pop depending on the type. Generally it's the cash shop, jet black and pure white I see at higher prices. I don't know if anybody actually buys them or if it's just people advertising to try and sell though. -

I sell every rare dye I have, exception being the cash shop dyes since I don't have any. I always let people know that they have to trade in their gear and they can't be bound before I can dye them. I get my gil, they get their shiny coat of painted gear, we both walk away happy. Lately I can't even get any buyers since I guess everyone got what they wanted. I have 10+ of each dye too...
