Shift & Tab

Hey all,

Not sure if it is Steam or FF which is causing it but every time I press Tab + Shift to get rid of the Steam pop ups at the start my client immediately crashes. Just started today but as it is (visually) blocking all my option button it is more then a little annoying. Anyone knows what I can do to fix this? Closing steam is not an option obviously as in that case the game also closes. It doesn't give me anymore info apart from the screen below.
