Frequent Disconnect Symbol Without Actual Disconnection
I frequently see the disconnection symbol next to my name when moving around the game. It shows up for at most 1 second before going away. For the most part nothing seems to lag on my screen, that is of course unless it shows up when I am accessing my retainer, the provisions window at my GC and when starting any npc dialogue. It often does show up when these actions occur often making me wait up to 10 seconds sometimes for my retainer window to show up and my retainer to spawn. I am using a ps3 with a wired connection and have my ps3 given full port access through my router, the firewall has it listed as an device to allow unrestricted internet access. Any tips on what I can do? If it helps, my roommate has a ps4 that is also using a wired connection and we play at the same time but he doesn't have the same problem as me. He often comments on how often the DC symbol appears next to my player name. We have a 100mbps broadband connection and any other internet connections are normally not be actively used when we both play. I have this problem even if he is not using the ps4 or any other active connections. Does anyone have any idea of what may be the problem and any possible fixes?
