Elusive Jump behaves incorrectly

In-game time: 8:00 p.m.
Area and coordinates: Mor Dhona 22,6
Steps:
1. Walk up the stairs by the Summoning Bell.
2. Stand on the square corner facing the Aetheryte in the distance.
3. Position so that walking right or backwards will drop down to lower level.
4. Face such that back is directly towards the opposite corner.
5. Use Elusive Jump Skill.
6. Instead of landing across the small gap, the player drops down into the stairwell pit.
7. Elusive Jump skill behaves incorrectly, it should not drop the player to the ground until the landing position.
8. This is an example, the same unexpected drop behavior happens anywhere with height differences.
