Can we please get a Move-Speed Bonus on ECHO?

Disclaimer: I don't want this thread to turn into an "Echo is stupid, it won't help players develop any sort of actual skill!" debate. Echo's in the game & it's there to stay, please don't derail this thread.

Echo is extremely potent, sometimes almost too potent haha. However, if it's intention is to help people who struggle with certain contents pass them (which it is), it doesn't succeed very well in the sense that it does nothing to counteract dodge mechanics (which are very prevalent in this game).

I propose 1-2% per Echo Stack up to 5-10% maximum in Extremes & a 5-10% flat in Coil.

What do you all think?

No simply because of the argument you are trying to avoid. Dodge mechanics, like in Titan, are scripted. If you can't learn a script, nothing will save you.
I think people just need to learn the fight.

Echo is there to allow minor mistakes - things like un-optimal tank cooldown usage, slow healing, or bad DPS. It's not there to actually circumvent learning the fight or supplement something like movement speed/positioning requirements - and for that there's still nerfs to many fights.

Learn the fight or quit, there's a limit to how much babying should be acceptable.

People with commonly high-ping or not the greatest reflexes can still struggle tremendously even if they've memorized the fight.

If you have the fight memorized you can start moving before it happen, so with high ping and low reflex u get out.

Only works if the target area isnt random, which many are. If you start moving before you see the target area, you're just as likely to move in to something as out of it (for example, Landslides / plumes / etc).

And hit my team mates with Weight of the Land because I moved early. Maybe I survived, but I hope no one else tried to move the same way I did.

Honestly how easy do you want this game to get?
If you can not dodge mechanics then I'm sorry, you shouldn't get a buff to assist you in that. The fights are scripted so learn them and study them. If you have trouble moving and avoiding mechanics after you've learn the fight through and through then that's not a reason for it to be dumbed down even more. It means you should play better or just generally improve.

High-ping as unfortunate as it is to have it, you can not regulate this buff for high ping only players. It's impossible and I'm sorry to say this since it's not adequate and possible for everyone but you need to either get an internet upgrade, do all you can to improve latency in some way even if it is through a proxy or generally wait until data centers with better ping are released. It's your own issue, don't make this game dumber than it already is for the love of XIV.
