Player Merchant Stalls
I would love to see if SE includes Stalls, where you can be anywhere in the main cities n pop out a merchant stall where you can sell your own items.
And make it where you must do a quest line to obtain it, or make the Stall n buy a permit. which will make it less people selling junk. (New players)
But idk would this harm the MB prices?
Any Opinions?

We had that on 1.0 and for some reason they scrap it for 2.0. Was not a personal stall like what you asking but we had a bazzar.

I like the idea, but I don't think its really necessary in the way you described it. What it sounds like you want is a way of selling stuff while bypassing the market board taxes and the unknown factor of getting undercut. Because if a player comes to you, they only see 1 price for whatever you are selling instead of the other prices from other people who posted the same item on the market.
What would be really neat is a player market for whatever trade skill you have. Limit players to only being able to setup shop for 2 of their skills cause you don't really want every player being able to setup every shop. But then from that storefront you can sell things that you make (And only things that you make), or you can put a crafting service charge up and players can bring you materials and request a certain item. It's still bypassing the market board taxes and the undercutting, but at least it's not selling random junk you find from dungeons.

Other games have similar options to this, but it would be nice to actually while away the hours actively selling to the public, instead of praying that one item sells on the MB.
Even if it's not completely free of a 'tax' but incredibly reduced compared to the MB (like 1% on the total session takings) it will still prove to be an incredible opportunity for players who want to further develop mercantile ideals. As for any beginning quests or such, each major city has a master of the markets which beginners get a quest from to understand the markets so the groundwork is laid already to use them.
The only downside I can see is the rules regarding placement of the stalls, because unless it's properly managed, players will not only quickly run out of room, but it may obstruct other players from using the MB or other merchants in the area.

I really dislike that option in other games. You have people standing and crowding nearly everywhere. They don't disconnect anymore, just stay idle and sell their stuff.
There is already enough people in town.
I don't have anything against the possibility to own a shop, but the stall idea really has a big disadvantage.

This is a very bad idea the wards system in 1.0 was a very bad idea in the early days of 1.0 you could end up spending about an hour looking for one thing only to not find it (there was no search option I mean.
But the markets was all ways clustered to the point you couldn't put your retainer there because Ul da was pretty much the right in the center of the world so people stayed there most of the time.
Now if that let us use housing as shops that be kinda different but why would people travel to a stall when they can just buy it on the market board from any city.
