Is there a way to mute the music while mounted on a chocobo (to enjoy ambient music)?

I do like the music while mounted on a chocobo, although it gets old fast.
I would LOVE to listen to city / zone musics while mounted... Is there a way, besides... running around on foot? :confused:

System Configuration -> Sound -> Uncheck the play music while mounted option. This disables the mount music and normal BGM plays instead.

I did this just because I don't like how the volume depends on movement. It's just one of those small things that annoy me.
