First things first: Heavensward! Do you think we will get a new housing region based around Ishgard sometime in the expansion? Do you want to see one? Don't want to see one? I'm curious on everyone's thoughts and opinions on the matter.
Secondly: Will we (or do you think) we will ever see a better way to relocate/upgrade our current houses? Not asking for free of course, but currently the only way to do so is via bulldozing millions (in some cases tens to hundreds of millions) of gil into the ground, and then spending millions (tens hundreds or otherwise) more just to move. While it's bad enough that you lose 100% of your investment moving, everyone who owns a personal room also suffers, as they lose 300K + unique furnishings. Small deal for small FCs, very VERY big deal for big FCs.
On the note of personal rooms: Please give us a better way to keep and/or move them when moving the FC house, or moving FCs in general. I don't think it should be 100% free, but a "moogle moving service" for X amount of gil that just copy pastes your room to your new house would be fantastic. Or something, anything that is better than the current situation.
As for my main concern with housing currently: We have a beautiful large house in the Lavender Beds with some very nice looking neighboring houses. The area is gorgeous! However... the neighborhood is completely, 100% dead. There's no "community". We never see anyone from any other FCs. Most of the FCs with houses have dwindling numbers, some down to only 1-2 people. It's a ghost town, and it sucks! One of my favorite parts of personal housing is being able to interact with other FCs at the market boards, but that died off months ago.
I know they plan to add a system that auto demolishes houses that go unused for a set amount of time, but are there any other ways to address the issue? We love our house, but it's so lonely with nobody but our own FC in the immediate area.

I don't think there will be a housing area in Ishgard, unless it's underground and safe from dragons :p
I don't think we will ever see a better way to move to another house until they deal with the RMT issue, so far it seems to get worse, until then they will keep using housing as a major sink and we, legit players, will keep getting shafted by RMT control actions.
Personal rooms were just poorly implemented IMO, they should have been linked to the player rather than to the FC, they could have been implemented as a sort of "private apartment", but then again one could say the whole housing system was poorly implemented, FC housing with land limits, private rooms linked to FC, private housing shared price with FC and more availability issues. -

IDK, not much thought put into this, I just really like the concept they flushed with Market Wards...
And, only partly related to Housing, but since we'll be able to make our own Airship... Free Company Gear Crafting? Let us make a fully customizable Free Company Uniform of sorts... Take the crafting system from 1.0 (where you had to make the sleeves, and hood and everything else before putting them all together) and adjust it a little...
