Dye Changes (Yes, Please)
I quite like how we can have our gear dyed various colors, however it does add some odd idiosyncrasies once you get into the nitty gritty.
Game rule wise, it should be obvious why a RED roll of cotton will only work, and not a BLUE. But from a 'immersion' perspective, one would think the armor is just moade with blue cotton or red depending on what we choose.
That said, could we perhaps with the changes to crafting recipes in 1.19, see it so armor is created in undyed only, and then we apply dyes after the fact (perhaps in a way similar to crafting.) In order to require no balance changes, make it so an armor requires the same amount of dye it would need to craft through the sum of it's parts (rounding up to the nearest. I.e. if it needs 5 dyed sheepskin, which needs 1 and a quarter pots of dye, require 2 pots of dye.)
This would also be nice since if it turns out a change in new gear makes you just look ugly (neon green boots and blue armor... Dye the boots blue!).
