Help my Ps4 ffxiv launcher unable to patch file [20024] [-2133262324]

it happens last night.. when i was about to start the game like usual suddenly it prompting to update the launcher, and when its done suddenly "unable to patch file [20024] [-2133262324]" popped up.. does anyone have any solution for this kind of problem? i prefer to not reinstalling it due to long waiting.. please someone help me.. thanks

What time "last night"? Servers went down at midnight West Coast time for maintenance... won't be up for a long time (25 hour window because of some MAJOR changes). Just curious if maybe the servers went offline while the download was still taking place, or maybe it's a "false positive" kind of thing because it couldn't verify something with the server after unpacking because they went offline.

around 9.00 Am in the morning, before the error occurred i could enter the launcher perfectly and inputting my id and pass and noted that the server is under maintenance. Upon noticing that the server is under maintenance i closed the FFXIV application and turned off my PS4.

Around 1 hour latter while hoping that the maintenance was done, i turned on the PS4 again and relaunch the game and noted that the game updating the launcher and while the download done it gives me "unable to patch file [20024] [-2133262324]" and having retried it a few times the result was the same.

Does anybody ever suffer the same problem as i did?

Seyferinus not trying to sound mean here but what part of the game is shut down for a full 25 hours did you not understand?
Servers went down this at midnight Pacific time Mon the 27th and WILL REMAIN down until at least 1AM tonight. This is in the PST time zone. No idea what tz you are in.
This has been well advertised for a week.

Well the update server is currently down...seeing as the hardware is physically disconnected and being modified to support all of the strain of the new features being added.
So... Its not really a big deal if you can connect? logins were disabled 20 hours ago, And the servers went completely down 19 hours ago... so. Yupp.

sorry but the error confused me.. T.T could not even enter the login screen now

I see you are on Jenova and if this is your first char you have not experienced a large patch update yet. Currently all of ffxiv is undergoing maintenance and you will be able to log in again once it is over. Maintenance is scheduled to end tonight at 1am PST. When you are aloud to launch the game again it will download a massive update to install all the new content and major changes. Depending on your connection speed this could take some time.

It is possible we can update the game an hour or two prior to being able to actually log in but no one knows for sure. Just relax and know the errors are expected during a major maintenance period. Do not delete your game hoping to fix it. Check the loadstone for news on when the update can be installed or just wait until after 1 am PST before trying again.
