So SE posted up the official countdown for 2.4 release in their Youtube account so...

Am I the only one whose mind added the 24 theme music to that?

Small clarification: That's the timer until the live reading of the patch notes, not the timer for when servers go up.

its a count down till they go over the patch notes. it will most likely be in Japanese though.

Yes, they will. This isn't something new; there has always been a live reading of the notes during the maintenance. Most of it is verbatim but he will sometimes add remarks or clarify changes.

Weird, I never noticed that before.

Then again, I've often been at work during large patch times.

Totally still 3 hours 40 minutes left as of this post. not 1 hour. Don't get disappointed.
