    Small clarification: That's the timer until the live reading of the patch notes, not the timer for when servers go up.

    its a count down till they go over the patch notes. it will most likely be in Japanese though.

    Yes, they will. This isn't something new; there has always been a live reading of the notes during the maintenance. Most of it is verbatim but he will sometimes add remarks or clarify changes.
