Seriously I've got enough Filtered Water to float the entire Lominsan Navy when all I want is to gather up some glamour sets :(

they sell for 1k ea on my server and are quite usefull for getting cheap fc III demis
I think they should put those crafting materials in the regular treasure chests scattered throughout the dungeon; the boss treasure chests should only contain equipments.
Okay? That's irrelevant to an extreme though, since you can't get the glamor armor with them. =P I, too have wanted to get a monk darklight set for glamor (since I think it and the Bard one look nice) but good lord. I've been running Lost City for the better part of six months and have never seen the boots drop and 3/4 of the time gourmand just drops mats. What if I don't need any crafting stuff or gil and JUST want some armor?
Agreed, crafting materials should be from the treasure chests scattered across the dungeon. The treasure chest after killing a boss should only drop gear.
After running some of these Hard mode dungeons with my friends last night, I'm in agreement with the crafting materials should be littered throughout the dungeon and boss chests should contain only gear... Bad enough that the drop rate on DoM gear is low, due to the DoW drops being more common, but now it has to compete with Sparklettes?

As long as you don't move them to the accessory chests instead, I'm down with this. Boss chests should contain gear. I'd be okay if the mats were just a chance from each chest in addition to gear, like the Baby Opo-Opo from Brayflox (but obviously not that low of a rate).
Yes, this is another prime example of square getting priorities backwards. Why the hell do I need potions from a chest when Alchemists exist! How am I supposed to get gear that I can turn in for Grand Company seals! With 2.4 coming, I'll never be able to afford a piece of Saurian Skin unless I fate grind or sit there and craft 9000 mad mans whispering rods to turn in for seals. That's not exactly efficient, and I already have my Novus. The last thing I want to do are grind fates at this stage in the game, square. Come on.
Well bad news, the three new dungeons still have crafting mats in the loot tables. And they are in boss chests. They also did not take out crafting mats from the old dungeons. I looked it up on the lodestone as soon as it updated. I don't have any crafting classes at 50 so the mats aren't useful to me unless I sell them. While having money isn't a bad thing, all the money in Eorzea can't buy me a Shikaree doublet so I really wish they had listened to the feedback about taking crafting mats out of the dungeons.
