Revision to action bar/ability point costs
Don't know whether this would go in the user interface forum or battle mechanics forum, since it's tied into both so here goes.
What I personally want to see, in regards to the action bar, and ability point cost/setting abilities, is this:
As a conjurer, I don't think setting conjurer abilities should cost points to set. Likewise, as a pugilist, I don't think setting pugilist abilities should cost points to set. If you've learned something, it should be at your disposal when you're focusing on that classes style.
I do want to keep the point cost limit though, however I think it should only come into play when setting abilities from another class. Hell you could even raise point cost or lower the limit to make it effective in the way the developers wanted it to work to begin with.
While we're still on that subject, I also feel that everything I have learned as a conjurer or pugilist or whatever, should be at that classes disposal at any time. I realize that would incur the addition of spell and ability lists, but honestly that sounds like an improvement to me. The action bar can stay as well, for those who want it, I would still definitely use it even with a spell and ability list available during combat.
