what is being fixed this time?

Just wondering since everything was alright before they shut the servers down...

If its only a hot fix then it can be done while the severs are running but we would have to re log to get that fix updated.
Why do they always seem to take it all down and let us hang?

Yeah, I can't find any notes. Guess the 'emergency' was that someone spilled something on a wire.

Of what's broken: FATEs are still taking aeons to spawn in spite of being 'adjusted'. Some longer than they used to.

I have never seen a maint end early, Only on time or after the scheduled time. Test server could help with this maint and patching...

Probably a few things. There was a FATE in Central Shroud (a collection FATE) that replaced the English names of the mobs with their Japanese text names. It might also fix the Syrcus Tower loot lockout glitch (where people can not roll Need or Greed on something when they have not received anything from ST) as well as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t21kCv80gNM

Friends in my FC also had that bug with Amon, so that seems a very likely candidate.

I know A-Ruhn-Senna NPC was glitched in the WHM job quests. But I don't think that is really what I'd call an emergency.

Yeah I had that glitch and it was pretty creepy.

Possibly a hamster fell off his wheel or something? Although ps4 users were getting launcher errors and there was a tone of log in issues last night so that might be the case.

There was mass 90k yesterday (between 4 and 5 PM GMT) on all EU/NA servers, and then there was noticeable lag at least till the time I logged out (9 PM GMT), so it could be related.
