It doesn't seem so cut and dry an issue for me though. I actually do enjoy the group content as well as the community in general. I used to play MMO's all the time (played FFXI and then spent years in WoW). It wasn't until late into the Wrath of the Lich King expansion that I started to go in and out. Its not so much the content, but how the community approaches the content. For all the years I've spent in MMOs, raiders tend to be very inefficient in terms of scheduling for and analyzing end game encounters. An experienced, sober team should be able to master a fight within an hour (most encounters, anyway). Everytime I see a raid leader recruiting, they want people to sit down and raid consistently for 4-6 hours at a time. I used to tolerate that, because it was often the only way to get into raiding, but they were usually pretty awful if they needed that much time in a single sitting to make progress.
It might be I'm just reasonably doubtful of the end game community at the moment because of my years of experience. I probably don't want to get sucked into something I can't reasonably commit to.
