It showed a bunch of servers I have never been affiliated with. Excalibur was missing so I just clicked any of the NA servers. Wondering if it was me or not. Would prefer my proper server to be listed so when I meet up with my FC we will all have proper info :)
it didn't ask for your server. wanted your data center.
yep, asked for data center. For Excalibur, it was "Primal" :)
Well that really sucks. I never heard of "Datacenter" until now. Looks like I picked the wrong one =/
After they chaged how datacenters worked, it asked you when you first logged in which datacenter to use, so theres at least 1 mention that you had no way to get around.
I had a character created on a server that they basically kicked everyone off of and had everyone split to a new server. I don't recall at any point learning about that but then again I had an account created from 1.0 and then recreated a character when they released ARR for the free trial month or two. Then I didn't log back in and paid to move my character to a new server *shrugs
"The form requires you to list your Character Name and World for every ticket purchased. If an attendee does not have an in-game character, or wishes not to share their character name, please select the “I do not have a character” option under Data Center. The name you list in the Character Name field will be printed on your badge, so be sure to spell this correctly!"
It should have listed the world you were on, not the Datacenter... Someone somewhere messed up.
