Quick question about Atma

So I got my relic weapon yesterday YAY :D. Titan was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Anyway now the fun atma grind begins lol. So, I have a quick question. Once I've driven myself mad getting the temptress of fate title a million times over and eventually getting my atma, I was wondering about the books you do on completion of this part of the quest.

Are the dungeons, fates and leves in the books random or are they set depending on your class?

I have no problem with any of the lower dungeons but have heard some of the higher ones can cause problems such as Braflox hard and wanting the right classes to zerg through or they leave or kick and Pharos where everyone just leaves. My FC only has three members (a friend started it) so it's not easy to get anyone to help out. Is it as hard to get into these in the DF as I've read?

I believe they are dependent on the actual book you choose to do. I've had a friend have the same list of mobs, FATEs, dungeons and leves as me on a different job so this is how I've come to that conclusion.

You'll get all the dungeons no one wants to do. They are not random.

They are dependant on which book you choose because mine have been pretty much different with each book and yes there are dungeons in there that nobody likes to do but hey there in the game lol got to do them either way

Eventually you will get every dungeon that exists (as of dungeons that exist before 2.3) by the time you complete your 9th book.

Ah k. I'll just have to hope that I can get groups for them and a Brayflox hard that people don't mind not speedrunning. Thanks :)

i'd get 3 friends and just sac pull all the low lv dungeons to run thro them in no time :D

Unfortunately I only know two people that play. One is lvl 33 and is in no hurry to reach 50 and the other I play with regularly is a lvl 50 dragoon - not one of the 'chosen' for Brayflox hard. Our FC has three members - those three people and we can't really leave without offending the leader, so I am at the mercy of the DF - oh well I'm sure we'll get it eventually :) First I have to get the 12 atma so it'll be a while yet lol. First one dropped today so 11 to go.

Yeah, though I'm not sure anyone's bothered to catalog them, I think there are essentially 9 books to do regardless of what weapon you're working on. So the first STR book will be the same as the first DEX book or first INT book and so on. I think so anyway. Certainly the VIT books are the same between weapons and the books are definitely static.

Don't worry too much about the dungeons. Those are the least of your worries, though make sure you're alive when the final boss dies. A healer allowed me to die during Diabolos the other day for a book (they were on door duty and just decided not to bother since he was almost dead and then didn't raise me since they could easily do it after he was killed). The lower dungeons will require a longer wait, but certainly Brayflox HM and the like are practically freebies when you see those in your book, and this is from a MNK's perspective.

I think the dungeons people dislike are being abandoned less often (like Pharos) since many people need them for books and they're easier after the nerfs. The worst part of the books are camping the 3 specific FATEs, but an adjustment in 2.3 might have made that less of a hassle.

My main worry about Brayflox is that my friend and I aren't a speedrunning team makeup so I'd heard tanks and healers just leave if you're not at least one BLM. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see and take it as it comes :) I tend to worry over things prematurely lol. Thanks for all the replies guys.
