Chocobo Raising - Feeds

Chocobos can be trained once per hour, and will demand one of the following fruits or vegetables as a reward for their efforts:

Krakka Root / Curiel Root / Sylkis Bud / Mimett Gourd / Tantalplant / Pahsana Fruit / Thavnairian Onion

These fruits and vegetables can be obtained through gardening.

I don't want to sound like a downer for a feature I've been waiting ages for but... acquired by gardening? :'3

Hoping there's an alternative to acquire these aside from gardening. Added Level 3 tier nodes even, would be nice..?

Er... sorry if I am mistaken but I don't think there's enough garden space to go around to supply a big fc's members for all their chocobos.

Some clarification would be appreciated.

It give the gardens attention I guess, walked around the house zones and there are a lot dying plants. Our FC leader have turn gardening into his pet project bringing in jutes and glazenuts. I assume this will be the next project.

Yeah, I noticed that too. My FC has about 20+ some active members, no way we'll be able to effectively share that much space to all feed our chocos >.< Unless the yield is huge and easy to share amongst FC members at least.

Came in here knowing there'll be no info regarding "Chocobo Companion Skill Point Reset". Was not disappointed.

Let's wait for more info. Maybe the new seeds have a bigger outcome. When I read the Lodestone article, I also wondered how an entire FC should live from one Garden. Since I am not at all interesting in Gardening, this looks like yet another option to spend moar GIL on. Why they connected the two complete different things with each other is beyond me tho. I want to train my choccobo, not become a Gardener.

It's all the question about how many exp a training period give a chocobo versus grind in the open world.

Raising maximum rank is not the same as resetting the ranks >_>

I already did. It did not say anything about relocating points. It only says increase maximum rank thus gaining more points. I want something like "Keeper's Hymn" than leveling my chocobo 10 more ranks just to get enough points to put it where I want.
