Offer incentives for carrying people through old fights

E.G. 500 myth points for completing turn 5 with someone in the group who hasn't defeated it before.

I don't even know why there's a duty finder for fights like Titan EX, Leviathan EX and turn 5. They never succeed.

Give experienced players a reason to help other players through the content please that doesn't involve selling a run.

You want a carry that doesn't cost you?

And then have underprepared people for scob etc

I've beat Titan ex in DF quite a few times...a lot are failures but not all.

This would probably soften the verbal abuse going on in those fights too.

Failing that at least provide a way to train these fights solo first?
I'm going to be honest here:

I watched videos and read strategies online on how to do ultima hard and garuda EX.
While I knew somewhat what to expect I didn't actually "learn" to act in those fights before I basically practiced it in DF over and over.
Because I could only practice in DF that meant that everyone unfortunate enough to be there had no hope of getting kills before I eventually managed to adapt my skills to the various stages of the fight.

I don't think this is fair to me or anyone else playing. Plus everytime I signed up I had this terrible quilt for not being pro at it yet. It almost made me not want to play and when I expressed my newb-ness other players would jump ship right away.

I don't need a carry through these fights. I do enjoy helping people though. It would be nice to see groups going out of their way to help people clear a fight that doesn't involve people using RMT to pay for it.

Well I was hoping that people would become more helpful if they were offered incentives. Perhaps increased loot drops if someone is new in the fight?

That defeats the purpose of an MMO. You are not (well should not be) expected to be perfect at it first go. The problem lies with the people who expect a one shot not the new people.
