Account suspended, help?

I'm surprised to have forum access so hopefully someone can help me out. I was happily playing during the day and now that the kids are back in bed when I try to log in I get a message reporting that my account is not active to go to MogStation. Fine, I do and then I am greeted with a message saying my account is suspended. Apparently there's also support only between 8am-6pm pacific time.

This is so random! I've never had any problems before aside from horrible latency here and there. What's the most common cause of suspended accounts? I just paid for my next month yesterday :(.

did you log in from a different PC maybe? I heard this can sometimes lock your account. Otherwise not sure why it would.

I haven't logged in from anywhere else, I do use WTFast if that matters. My laptop has been a bit wonky but I think it is a hardware problem as I've scanned it repeatedly lately fearing some virus/malware but all seems ok on that front.

Not sure unless someone was trying to access your account by putting in the wrong password multiple times maybe. I use pingzapper and have never gotten any notifications about possible suspensions etc, as far as I know they said those tools are allowed.

I wish they had 24hr support. It'll b fun trying to talk to them with both kids tomorrow! Thanks for the replies, hopefully it is easily resolved...

Sometime, they suspend accounts which make crazy amount of gil

This happened to a friend of mine tonight because someone was attempting to access his account. Try going to the mog station and resetting your password :)

I'm a poor lala. I'm at my highest amount of gil right now with 500k.

I went to mogstation but just says account suspended so not sure how changing my password could did that. I'll try anyway, thanks!

I thought you would get an email telling you why your account was suspended and for how long.
