Not sure where to put this, so I'll just set this here. Coil, Turn 1 mobbing.
As I've tanked Turn 1, I've never seen any other tank able to pull both trash sets in one run. Is that normal? Do tanks not know you can do that?
Phase 1
It's pretty simple. It involves a lot of flash/shield lob/tomahawk and sprinting. Just aggro as you would do during a sac run. Once you get to the side platform near the first golem, head up it and use the circular shape of it as a path. The mobs will follow you, this is when you should untarget anything and (if you have your hotbars set the way I do for WAR on PS3) sheathe your weapon. This is when you want to start sprinting back toward the first platform the mob set initially began at. Again, it's another circular platform so you'll want to circle it as you're ahead of the mob.
At this point, don't worry about not having anything targeted. The mob will still have you as their aggro. What you want to do now, as the mob is starting to head UP the pathway into the circular platform, is jump/fall off the edge of said platform leading you up to where (hopefully if the DPS isn't that awful) the golem was as the team should have already killed it. At that point, you're ready for phase 2.
Phase 2
You'll begin by heading up to the second pathway where you'll aggro the second trash set as you would in a normal sac run. It is imperative that healers/DPS/MT don't aggro anything the OT has/is pulling. At this point, it is unnecessary for any heals/buffs to be applied to the OT.
When you get to the area before the golem, you'll want to start heading up the offpath platform to the left. The one that leads up to the pretty kitty. :3
Aggro the turkey and cat up there (because they're going to aggro you anyway, might as well get it over with) and head up toward the top platform in that area. This is where you'll want to sheathe your weapon again. You will need to sprint and jump/fall off of this top platform as well. Make sure you have enough HP to safely do so. I've seen runs where tanks have tried doing it only to fall to their deaths because their HP was too low to survive the fall. Sprint back to where the pathway began to the upper platform area and head away from the second golem area.
At this point, you will have all the aggro on the trash sets from the beginning of the pull to the end. Where you head off to is up to you. Personally, I like to head to the eastern platform area that holds the lone treasure chest just to get the potions there. Yes, they're not much, but it's still something nice.
Or you'll head back to the beginning warp (non-death run), or you just grab the treasure and let the mobs kill you. Either way, the mob run is done. Congratulations, you've just made Turn 1 a lot faster for people.
